Patricia Y. Byrd, CCFC, CDMC

Director of Business Affairs and Administration

Patricia Y. Byrd serves as Associate Consultant and Director of Business Affairs and Administration for the Office of the Ecclesiastical Council, under the guidance of Bishop Henry M. Washington, Ph.D. She assists in developing funding strategies and solutions in support of the financial recovery of churches, ministries, 501(c)(3) community development corporations, other non-profit organizations, and small, minority and women-owned businesses.

Ms. Byrd is CEO and President of B2B Funding, LLC. The service bureau is a collaborative partner and the exclusive source of financial services for the Office of the Ecclesiastical Council. Offerings include asset-based financing, cost-effective cash flow solutions, equipment leasing and alternative financing, specializing in commercial and residential mortgage funding. The company's unique services are provided through relationships established with wholesale banks, alternative funding sources and private investors.

Pat has an excellent reputation in the business community in public and private sectors. She has served in leadership and mentorship roles for the past 20 years within professional associations that promote opportunities to propel women business owners and teenage girl protégés into economic and social spheres of power. Volunteering is second-nature to Ms. Byrd as she frequently "gives back" to local centers for abused women and children, at local soup kitchens for the homeless, and at impoverished neighborhood home improvement organizations.

Over the years, Ms. Byrd has provided supervisory expertise as Regional Manager of Administration at CIGNA Corporation and as the District Manager for the Census Bureau, U.S. Commerce Department, responsible for the supervision of 650+ employees to gather census data in 27 communities. She has been publicly acknowledged and received numerous awards for outstanding service within both of these entities.
